In my research work, I focused on investigating hydrodynamic instabilities and bifurcations of oceanographic flows. This included modeling the evolution of the formed vortices and finding the emergent coherent, large-scale structures. Currently, my interest is in astrophysical fluid dynamics. In particular, I study relativistic shock waves related to gamma-ray bursts and magnetar giants to flares.
